Empower the Next Generation of Latina Leaders

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young women? Do you have a desire to mentor and inspire the next generation of Latina leaders? If so, we invite you to join our team of dedicated mentors at Madrinas Para Latinas.

As a mentor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting Latina students ages 12-17 in their personal, educational, and professional journeys. By sharing your knowledge, experience, and wisdom, you can help these young women discover their passions, develop essential skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed.

What You'll Do:

Provide one-on-one mentorship and guidance
Offer academic support and career advice
Help students explore their interests and set goals
Encourage personal and professional development
Serve as a positive role model and source of inspiration

Requirements:

Be at least 21 years old
Complete a background fingerprint check and a tuberculosis test (required for all volunteers working with children on an ongoing basis)
Be committed to providing regular mentorship and support
Commit to a one-year mentorship commitment
Be available for approximately 1-2 hours per week
